Žućo arrived at our shelter in January 2023, traveling from Dubrovnik to a safer everyday life. Although at first he may seem shy and withdrawn, behind that quiet exterior lies a dog with a big heart, attentive, calm, and loyal to those he trusts.

One particular moment at the shelter forever marked Žućo, instinctively standing between the volunteer and the other dog, protective and decisive, without aggression. He's shown that he's not just a dog that seeks security, but one that knows how to provide it.

He gets along well with other dogs and enjoys their company, and he is most comfortable with a routine routine and people who know how to respect his pace. For him, we're looking for hosts who will give him time to relax and build trust, because when he does, he becomes a true ally.

Yellow is obedient, unobtrusive and unobtrusive, but at the same time an attentive observer with a keen feeling for people and situations. With stable and patient leadership, it can be a wonderful companion, especially for those who like quiet dog characters with depth.

Žućo has been at the NO KILL Animal Shelter Center receiving all the usual veterinary treatments and vaccines, microchipped and castrated. As with all other animals under our care, an owner's book/passport has been issued.

The animals in our care are looking for a home in Croatia, but also internationally. It's important to us that they find a safe and warm home regardless of geographical location. ❤️
