Tisa arrived at our shelter in June 2025 from Hrvace, along with her mother and siblings. While her brother and sisters have already found their homes, Tisa is still waiting for her chance.

Tisa is very shy and shows aloofness towards people. She is still learning what it means to live without fear and in safety, which is why she needs a lot of patience, tenderness and understanding. She is not a dog that will open up right away, but with the right person or family, a consistent approach and a calm environment, Tisa has the potential to make great progress.

She has already started taking walks at the shelter on Marjan, which is a big step for her. Although new situations still present challenges, it is clear that she is slowly making progress and that with support she can build trust. She needs additional socialization and people who understand that trust in sensitive dogs is built slowly, but deeply and permanently.

Tisa is looking for a quiet home, without too much noise and stress, with people who will give her time to relax and show her gentle side. Once she feels safe, Tisa will be a dog that bonds sincerely and strongly.

Tisa je u NO KILL skloništu Animalis Centrum primila sve uobičajene veterinarske tretmane i cjepiva, mikročip te je obavljena sterilizacija. Kao i svim ostalim životinjama pod našom zaštitom, izrađena je vlasnička knjižica/putovnica.

The animals in our care are looking for a home in Croatia, but also internationally. It's important to us that they find a safe and warm home regardless of geographical location. ❤️
