Šimun arrived at the shelter in March of 2025 from Proložac, quiet, gentle and a little withdrawn, but with a look that speaks more than words. He's a dog who may not be imposing right away, but he'll prove his worth to anyone who gives him a chance.

He's still learning to trust and relax around people, so we're looking for a patient host to help him open up at his own pace. Simon has a wonderful character, unobtrusive, calm and gentle. It's worth giving him a chance because underneath his silence lies a tender heart just waiting for safety and love.

It is medium-sized, harmoniously built, and ideal for those seeking a companion for quieter walks and quiet moments together. He's not a dog for a rushed environment, but in the right home, with a little understanding, he could blossom into the most loyal of friends.

Šimun has been at the NO KILL Animal Shelter Center receiving all the usual veterinary treatments and vaccines, microchipped and castrated. As with all other animals under our care, an owner's book/passport has been issued.

The animals in our care are looking for a home in Croatia, but also internationally. It's important to us that they find a safe and warm home regardless of geographical location. ❤️
