Ricky arrived at our shelter in July of 2025 from Nine, after years of living in unsuitable conditions - confined to a box. We're happy that he's finally coming into our care, because now he has a chance for a fresh start and a family that will give him the warmth and security he never had.

Riki is about 8 years old, and because of his past, he's looking for more experienced foster parents who will treat him with patience and understanding. He needs re-socialization and gradual introduction into all the routines that life in an urban environment brings. Although he does not like to be picked up, Ricky is a lovable dog who enjoys the company of humans and loves to be cuddled. He is of medium height but strong, and he needs someone who can manage his strength properly and help him to feel secure and loved.

That's why Ricky has so much room for improvement. With patience, love and trust, he can become a loyal and grateful member of the family. He deserves a chance to show how much human closeness means to him.

Riki has been at the NO KILL Animal Shelter Center receiving all the usual veterinary treatments and vaccines, microchipped and castrated. As with all other animals under our care, an owner's book/passport has been issued.

The animals in our care are looking for a home in Croatia, but also internationally. It's important to us that they find a safe and warm home regardless of geographical location. ❤️
