Connie arrived at our shelter in November of 2024 from Knin. This gentle dog is still a little wary of people and unfamiliar situations, but behind her big eyes is a heart full of warmth and a desire to belong.

She's withdrawn and quiet, but she's not lost, she just needs a careful, patient and gentle approach. She likes routine, calm, and people who give her space to progress at her own pace. She introduces the world with a dose of uncertainty, but also great courage.

Koni will thrive in a more peaceful home, with someone who will show her that the world is a safe place. She gets along well with other dogs, and her companions often help her to relax.

Koni has received all the usual veterinary treatments and vaccines at the NO KILL Animal Center, has been microchipped and sterilized. As with all other animals under our care, an owner's book/passport has been issued.

The animals in our care are looking for a home in Croatia, but also internationally. It's important to us that they find a safe and warm home regardless of geographical location. ❤️
