Đumbir arrived at the shelter in February 2026 from Lećevica together with his mother Dunja and the other puppies from the litter. We assume that the puppies are a Kangal and Black Labrador mix. After a challenging start to life, they are now safe and slowly getting to know the world with care and protection.

Đumbir is a beautiful puppy who is showing more and more self-confidence every day. He is curious, observes, learns and explores his surroundings, while maintaining the warmth and affection typical of a puppy looking for his person. We expect him to grow into a larger dog, strong, stable and loyal, with a pronounced protective instinct and intelligence. With proper socialization and consistent upbringing, he can become a reliable guard and gentle family dog.

We are looking for responsible and active foster parents for Đumbir who are aware that he will grow into a large dog and are willing to invest time in his upbringing, socialization, and daily activity. He needs space, stability, and clear boundaries to grow into a balanced dog.

Đumbir is in the NO KILL shelter Animalis Centrum. He has received his first vaccinations and has a plan for further veterinary measures. When he reaches the appropriate age, he will be fully vetted and neutered. As with all animals under our care, he will be given an ownership book/passport and a microchip.

The animals under our care are adopted in Croatia and internationally - the most important thing for us is that they find a safe, warm and stable home.❤️
