Dana is one of four puppies that arrived at our shelter from Drnish in June of 2025. Tender, shy and sweet, Dana is a puppy just beginning to enter a world of safety, care and warmth. Born without much human contact, every day in the shelter is a new step towards trust and relaxation.

As a kangal mixed breed, Dana will most likely grow into a larger dog, but her nature is quiet and observant so far. She's a slow learner, but she absorbs everything from walking on a leash to the occasional touch that she's increasingly welcoming.

She would be ideal for people who have experience with larger dogs or who are willing to work patiently with a more gentle puppy, building a relationship based on safety and respect for its pace.

Dana's been vaccinated and microchipped, and she'll be sterilized when she's old enough. Like all the dogs in our care, she's been issued an owner's book.

The animals in our care are looking for a home in Croatia, but also internationally. It's important to us that they find a safe and warm home regardless of geographical location. ❤️
