Dargi arrived at our shelter in April 2025 from the village of Radeljić. An imposing yet gentle kangal male, Darling is a true example of how love, patience, and attention can change a dog's life. When he first arrived, he was very suspicious of people, but very soon the fear disappeared and was replaced by an incredible affection.

He regularly takes part in walks and enjoys bathing, and every encounter with him is a reminder of the wisdom, stability, and calmness that this breed carries. Dragi gets along well with people, is balanced, relaxed, and does not ask for much, except for space that fits his size. That's why we're looking for a home with a yard for him, because he's not a dog for a small apartment.

Dragi has been at the NO KILL Animal Shelter Center receiving all the usual veterinary treatments and vaccines, microchipped and castrated. As with all other animals under our care, an owner's book/passport has been issued.

The animals in our care are looking for a home in Croatia, but also internationally. It's important to us that they find a safe and warm home regardless of geographical location. ❤️
