Zigi arrived at our shelter in January of 2025 from Knin. He is an energetic, strong, hunting dog that loves to run, play, and spend time with people. He's very attached, always looking for contact and attention, and he's also intelligent and eager to learn. When he sees other dogs on the lead, he may bark, but this is not a sign of aggression, but his way of responding and expressing excitement.

These dogs are known to be passionate, tenacious, resilient, and full of energy, and that's exactly what Ziggy is. His nature craves owners who will provide him with enough activity and space to expend his energies, but also a quiet corner where he can enjoy the love and security of home.

Sadly, adult hunting dogs in shelters often go unnoticed for long periods of time. But Ziggy deserves a chance. He's a beautiful, special dog who will be grateful to the one who gives him a home for the rest of his life.

Zigi has been at the NO KILL Animal Shelter Center receiving all the usual veterinary treatments and vaccines, microchipped and castrated. As with all other animals under our care, an owner's book/passport has been issued.

The animals in our care are looking for a home in Croatia, but also internationally. It's important to us that they find a safe and warm home regardless of geographical location. ❤️
