Gogi arrived at our shelter in February of 2025 from Kastel. From day one, he has shown an incredible commitment to people and a stable, balanced character. A mixed breed of the Croatian shepherd type, Gogi is a smaller-sized, intelligent, active and very loyal dog.
Enjoying walks and hikes is his natural terrain, he likes to be on the move and explore the world with his man. In addition, it is an extremely adaptable, gentle, and affectionate dog, one that is easy to relate to and quickly wins the hearts of everyone. He adores everyone and it's not hard to fall in love with him, one of those dogs that just radiates kindness.
It gets along well with other dogs, shows a healthy interest in other animals, is curious, sociable, and a very pleasant companion in everyday life. Gogi is not a demanding dog, easy to love and even easier to tame, even if you don't have much experience with dogs.
Unfortunately, Gogi has been diagnosed with leishmaniasis, a disease that with proper therapy and regular veterinary checks, the dog can successfully keep under control and live a quality life. He's currently receiving treatment and is in stable condition and under constant veterinary supervision. Our team will be happy to provide all the necessary information about the disease and its treatment to prospective adopters.
Gogi has been at the NO KILL Animal Shelter Center receiving all the usual veterinary treatments and vaccines, microchipped and castrated. As with all other animals under our care, an owner's book/passport has been issued.
The animals in our care are looking for a home in Croatia, but also internationally. It's important to us that they find a safe and warm home regardless of geographical location. ❤️
